My serial key doesn't work?

Please check your serial key has not expired. Your serial key is generated based on your Betfair username. You cannot use anyone else's serial key and vice versa.

Software cannot connect to Betfair?

Please check if the Betfair web-site is running. If the site is down, then the software will not be able to connect. You can also check at http://service.betfair.info

Market data pages are empty?

To conserve internet bandwidth, the market data does not begin to refresh until 30 minutes before the first race of each day.

The software has stopped placing bets halfway through the day?

Firstly, check to ensure your internet connection is still live. Then login to your account at Betfair to check the exchange is still running. In some very rare cases, Betfair can take up to 1hour to settle a bet. As a very important security feature, Auto-BF will not continue placing bets, until all previous bets are settled and up-to-date.

Auto-BF seems to skip some races, especially the last 5 or 6 of the day?

The software will not place any money on a race if the previous bet has not been settled, the odds of the horse are too low, the race has been suspended, Available betting pot has been exceeded, or a race overlaps due to late start time. This is perfectly normal. Auto-BF will also typically cease trading at around the 5th-7th from last race, if it detects a winning bet. This is to prevent you running out of races to recoup losses. It will only continue betting if it feels necessary to recoup lost bets.
